(I know. When you saw the question you must’ve thought, “what the HELL?” but…it’s too awkward to ask parents and friends…I’m ashamed. Since I was five, I had a fluffy pillow I used to hump. It feels really good, I have orgasms on it, but i’m always guilty afterwards. Is it normal to masturbate? I’m only beginning the life of a teenager…and I haven’t even gotten my period, “pubic hair” or basically puberty yet. But recently since guiltily I’ve been humping my pillow, the hair seems to have increased, both in my pubic area and under my arms. Is it a coincedince, or because of some weird connection? PLEASE TELL ME I’M FREAKING OUT. thanks.
)
Answer:
(Edit: it’s *weird* that people thumb down the truth, isn’t it?)
Nothing about masturbation does anything to stimulate your hair’s growth. That’s something genetically programmed into your cells (it’s puberty time for you right now, and that’s the only reason for your hair growth), and masturbation can’t change any of it at *all*.
First off… there’s no such *thing* as being too young to masturbate. If you’re old enough to have a heart beat, it’s normal and natural… and it’s *very* healthy and good for you in many many ways.
I don’t suppose you’ve ever been permitted to learn the truth about all the people that masturbate… but it might interest you to know that infants masturbate (often to orgasm if they do it at all and – rarely – people even during the last week or two before they’re born)… that by the age of 12, almost 1/3 of all girls have already been masturbating to orgasm at least occasionally for half their lives or more… that at age 15 it’s 2/3 of them who are doing it regularly (many of those have been doing it several times a day, *every* day, for years)… or that by the age of 20, more than 80% of women are doing the same – regardless of whether they’ve ever had intercourse. Even very old people do it.
Everyone can (and everyone deserves to) enjoy the pleasure of orgasm, including everyone who chooses to enjoy it alone instead of (or in addition to) having sex with someone else.
Go right ahead… have all the fun you like with it and don’t worry about it. Masturbating is normal and healthy, and learning what pleases you sexually is good for you… especially because you’ll know what to tell (better yet, to show) your man about how to please you when you eventually decide you’re ready to have sex.
(ok so yes, im a virgin, but i havent had my period since the end of may its now august 9th…im having pregnancy type symptoms…and in june i did swim with a guy in a pool, yes it was a pretty big pool, but he would not leave me alone, he just stood by me the entire time, following me everywhere always by my side, anyway he had a ***** and could have been sperming…could i be pregnant?)
Answer:
You are absolutely not pregnant.
I am SURE that you are not. There is NO WAY (despite many rumors and urban legends saying otherwise) that sperm can survive in a pool and impregnate someone. This is for many reasons, one of which involves the chemical components in pool water (like chlorine), which kill off sperm cells.
How old are you? How long have you been menstruating? For the first year or two of having your period, most girls are irregular. Even though I’m 21 and have been menstruating for 10+ years, I have gone for about 3 months without a period and it can just show up again out of the blue. That is just how my body works, but it is very common for young girls to experience irregular periods.
Just remember- you are a virgin and it is basically impossible for you to become pregnant unless you have had intercourse. Sperm cannot survive for very long in normal air, let alone in a chemical and diluted environment.

(My fiancee is a beautiful amazing young lady (she’s 21) and she’s really my whole world and I couldn’t imagine my life without her, but she was recently diagnosed with cancer and she discussed with me that she intends to refuse any of the traditional methods (chemo/radiation/huge amounts of drugs, etc) for treating the cancer. She really believes it will only make her more sick and destroy her immune system and thinks it will probably kill her before the cancer itself. She says she wants to only take a holistic alternative approach and go on an extreme nutritional/vitamin/body cleansing regimen and diet with this alternative specialist that she has been reading about and believes has lots of promise. I love her so much and can’t lose her. Do you think she made a good decision and should I just support it or should I suggest otherwise?)
Answer :
I would have her meet with a doctor and figure out exactly how serious it is at the current time. While cancer is always a big deal, sometimes it may be life-or-death if treatment is not immediately begun. However, sometimes, there is a little time to try other things.
My best friend’s stepfather actually had the early signs of prostate cancer when he was told that converting to veganism often helps cancer patients fight off the disease. Within a few months, he had completely cleansed his body of the cancer – without any medical treatment!
He is a very rare case though, so maybe make a deal with your fiance (if there is time) – allow her to try her alternative treatments and if they don’t help by x time, then she goes through traditional treatment.
Good luck, I wish you both the best!
Side note: My father used traditional medical treatments to cure his cancer. He has been completely clean of it for about six years now.

The best thing to do if you feel dizzy is to stop any activity and sit down, or rest. If it is caused by a hypoglycemic episode (or if you got too hungry and you did some demanding physical activity), it may help if you drink juice, or eat something sweet. Dizziness is often addressed by the cause, and if you can identify the cause, you will be able to address it properly. If it’s just the common symptom that we get at times, just rest. It may be your body’s way of telling you to slow down.

(I know this is going to sound a bit disgusting but i just need some advice. Me and my other half are trying to have a baby, we have been together for 3 years. Now normally before this we were used to having sex with condoms however ive found that when having sex alot of the semen seems to ‘fall out’ as in after the fact kinda come back out, i heard sex was messy but jeez…. just wondering whether this is normal for it straight after to all pour back out? Gross i know.)
Answer:
No this is not disgusting. It is part of nature – called gravity! Part of this is your own fluids mixing with the semen, and then seeping out. You are used to condoms so not using them will seem really odd.
The entrance to the uterus is small (the cervix) so not all semen will travel up there. Conception usually takes place in the fallopian tube (bar medical complications), so the semen has to travel up there. Then the fertilised egg travels to the uterus, where it implants to grow from an extremely rich blood supply.
Also some men produce more semen than others when ejaculating.
If you want to get pregnant, you could put a pillow under your bottom when having sex, then ensure you stay propped up to keep the semen in to help with conception. Try to stay like this for one hour.
It only takes one sperm to implant, but the above technique can help.
Afterwards you can insert a tampon to soak up the semen, but these can be horribly smelly when you take them out (semen smell also depends on what your partner eats/drinks during a 48 hour period as well). Probably better to use a fresh, nicely scented panty liner/pad and change it frequently.
I hope your dream of having a beautiful, precious baby happens soon – keep us updated as to what worked when you are pg! Good luck.
(Can she give you antibiotics to treat it or do you have to go to a regular doctor?)
Answer :
Yes your gynecologist would be your best choice to treat a UTI. He/she is a medical doctor so, of course they can prescribe antibiotics. A Unrine test will determine if you have a UTI.

Ive had vaginal thrush for nearly a year and nothing i take for it works it keeps coming back!!!!
ive had the creams, the tablets ive tried everything.
im in my third pregnancy and im sick of dr’s telling me its due to hormones.
ive seen so many dr’s to get different opinions and had so many damn swabs im just over it.
ive had atleast 10 swabs and 2 high swabs to check for sti’s and STDS…. all came back clear and the results say god danm thrush.
how can i get rid of it im sick of the discharge and irritaion and it is driving me mental.
my sex life is effected by it and i feel sorry for my husband having to put up with me complaining about it.)
Answer:
I know you are using the creams and pessaries yourself but has your husband been treated too? I assume you are still having a physical relationship and if your husband is not treated then he will reinfect you each time you try to clear it up. He may not even have any symptoms unlike us poor girls! He could take a capsule orally to treat it and then you would need to use a pessary yourself.
Just a suggestion as to why your problem wont clear up.
Also, try natural yogurt on your nether regions as it contains healthy bacteria that can counteract thrush. Another tip is to iron the gusset part of your underwear, low washing machine temperatures can mean that the thrush is not killed off but if just rub the iron over the undies (breathable cotton ones not nylon or lace- can breed thrush) then it can kill off the fungus cells.
Hope this helps. x
